The objectives were to evaluate the prognostic value of parenteral nutrition duration on retinopathy of prematurity; to update and validate the Digital ROP 2.0 birth into prescreen and screen prediction models to include all ROP-screened infants regardless of gestational age and incorporate PND; and to compare the DIGIROP model with the Weight, IGF-1, Neonatal, and ROP and Postnatal Growth and ROP models.

The study aims to determine if mixed lipid emulsions containing fish oil decrease the incidence of long-term parenteral nutrition-associated cholestasis by reducing oxidative stress and providing an
anti-inflammatory effect.
