Nutrition of neonates with congenital heart disease: existing evidence, conflicts and concerns.

The purpose of this article was to analyze the existing evidence about perioperative and post-discharge nutritional management of neonates with congenital heart disease. Furthermore, we reviewed the recent literature and proposed policies that could prevent malnutrition and improve the outcomes of these patients.
